Prof. Joby K. Jose

Prof. Joby K. Jose is a Professor in the Department of Statistical Sciences at Kannur University. He holds M.Sc., M.Phil., and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics and has over two decades of teaching and academic experience. Prior to joining Kannur University, he served as Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, Kozhikode, for 15 years. His current research interests include queueing theory, distribution theory, statistical computing, and finite mixture models. He also works extensively in Bayesian inference, multilevel models, and phase-type distributions with applications in reliability and queueing theory. Prof. Jose continues to contribute significantly to teaching, research, and academic development in the field of statistical sciences.
